Rune Factory 2 NDS

After checking out a new store in my area similar to Gamestop and EB games, I picked up an old DS game called Rune Factory 2.

The game revolves around a boy with amnesia and gets a free farm to take care of in a little town. You spend the majority of the game growing crops in each season while performing little fetch quests for your neighbors, a lot like Animal Crossing, except this game adds in a possible romance and marriage option with any of the townsfolk as well as some "dungeons" to kill enemies. One of the coolest features you don't see to often in games these days is you get to play as your second generation, so when you marry and have a kid, 7 years pass and you get to play the game fresh as your son/daughter in what seems to be a slightly harder version of the game where you can upgrade your tools, weapons, abilities, and fight harder monsters in the dungeons.

The game is top down perspective as you run around slaying monsters and plotting your crops for money. There is no core feature that really grabs my attention, but the whole package itself of what you can do is a breath of fresh air among today's games. I played Animal Crossing for so long before realizing that I didn't even know why it was so addicting or fun, and I think Rune Factory is also worthy of the Animal Crossing addiction.

The graphics are old but consistent, they use the 8 bit sprites and cut out images of each character like most games from Japan. Unlike Animal Crossing each day goes by in a matter of 24 minutes, and you can only do so much in a day, there are certain days like holidays or character birthdays where you get to take part in special events which is nice, but the main thing you do is talk with everyone in town each day raising their friendship and love points.

It's a fairly old game with the recent announcement of Rune Factory 4 for the 3ds in Japan already, but if you ever want to sit back and break free from the hollywood style of today's gaming industry then I would suggest picking up one of the Rune Factory Games.

Random Update: Devil Survivor 2 + My New Nendoroids

So today is the day I have waited quite some time for; The release of Devil Survivor 2. The sad part is I probably won't have much time to really sink some solid hours into the game until the weekend. To add on to the awesome-ness, I finally got my slippery slope Madoka petite nendoroids too.

Zelda Four Swords Free Download for 3DS and DS

So after hearing about this at E3, i'm happy to find out another free download from Nintendo is being given out, this one being the Four Swords game originally release on the GameCube and Gameboy Advance back in 2004.

The game was given an 8.1/10 from GameSpot and received overall a good reception. What is great about this is the four player multiplayer experience between both 3DS and DS among friends. This is a way better method for this game as it takes full advantage of the mobility and wireless hook-up. The game is not a re-mastered or updated version like OoT 3D was, but simply a free re-release for our mobile gaming devices in celebration of 25 years of Zelda, although there is a new single player mode.

So why wouldn't you want it? It's free and fun to play all your friends, assuming you have friends with either a 3DS or DS.

For a limited time between Sept. 28th and February 20th you can download the game for free on either the Nintendo eShop channel or DSi Ware

And so ends another update.

Devil Survivor 2 Coming to DS

So, I learned yesterday that a second Devil Survivor was coming out. I would've posted yesterday, but my hand hurt, so I didn't want to type. This is different from the already-announced remake of the first Devil Survivor on the 3DS (which I am interested in too).

The game will feature an all new cast of character fighting back mysterious invaders known as the ‘Septentrion‘. To stop the threat, our heroes strike up a pact with The Devil becoming the 13 Devil Messengers. Players will have a time limit of 7 days to defeat the Septentrion before they wipe out humanity.

Here is the new trailer for the game and the official page. This is one of my favourite games (my other top games would be Advanced Wars, The World Ends With You and Knights in Nightmares) for the DS, so seeing a second installment is awesome. It's set to come out on July 28th, but that's the JP release date. I hope the English localization doesn't take too, long since the first NA version did remarkably well. Here's some extra info if you're interested in more details.

Radiant Historia

So, for the week-ish, I've been playing a newly released NDS game, Radiant Historia. I finally beat it last night. Overall, I found it to be a pretty good game. This is the gist of how the game works: you are given the White Chronicle before your first mission. You learn, during that mission, that you can move back in time at specific key points to alter the outcomes of the future.

Now, I am very, very, very opinionated when it comes to time travel, since I do believe in the Butterfly Effect. I had to cast that aside to even be able to accept the idea that the small changes you make in time only affect small things. The idea that there are only two main timelines between which you travel around felt even more insane. Every action you make should create a new timeline, creating indefinitely many more timelines. I'm hugely straying from the point of the post, but I had to comment on needing to ignore the huge flaws in this time travelling.

You would hop back and forth between the two timelines, and pretty much play them in unison to complete the game. Overall, the gameplay was pretty good. The only problem was the "forced" checkpoints. They would force it so that certain things needed to happen in the other time before you could progress in your current one, effectively keeping you from getting too ahead in one. This kept the game flowing in the way the developers wanted rather than allowing a more free-flowing game where you can go to the timeline that you choose.

The battle style was interesting and fun. It was more based on good timing of when to attack or defend, since scaling in this game was extremely slow. They probably made stats scale slowly to make it such that when you travel back in time, things are still mildly difficult. So, things are more based on tactics, which I do like.

The story was good, too. It had a couple of twists along the way with a solid ending. The only real problem was one of the final twists: the raison d'etre for the End Boss' motive. It seemed a little weak to be the huge motive for everything. The two companions that follow you throughout the game have very little character. I disliked that too, since every other character got much more screen time in the story. Overall, the impact of the story was good and told at a pretty good pace.

It has a huge replay factor, since going back to complete all the small things takes a lot of time. I spent around 30 hours in this game, and I'm still not fully complete. I'm close, though. I recommend this game for anyone with an NDS. It's well worth the time (and money, in case you don't use a flash card).

Overall: 8.5/10

So, I mentioned last that I use a flash card (NDSTT), which is very outdated. Luckily, a new patch came out recently for the firmware and I can play some more games now. Two of the games were translated from Japanese (since there's  no English localization), Tales of Innocence and Saga 2: Goddess of Destiny. I'll probably play those next.

Side note: I realize that, due to my anime-reviewing lately, I instantly thought of reviewing the game as I was playing first. I'm in a criticizing mode, I guess. Either way, it's almost time for Zombie episodes again. ~yay!!~

NDS post

First non-NDS based thing, decided to start playing Allods again. The new PVP patching coming will be nice.

Second non-NDS thing, HON 2.0 is botched so bad. Making a the patch centered around Matchmaking but not have match making out is fail. Pretty unplayable now without matchmaking.

So firstly I finally beat the 3rd Golden Sun for the DS. I gotta say this is probably the worse Golden Sun. This was a joke of a game compared to the other Golden Suns or even most the other games in general. Let me list out the problems:

1. Easy, can pretty much be beaten blindfolded. The puzzles are made simple, and bosses need zero planning. Just Leroy in.

2. The storyline is paper thin. Nothing gripping at all for story maybe cause their "quest" is just stupid. Their is zero sense of urgency till near the end, and even then *semi spoiler* it is your fault. Coulda been easily avoided if your characters weren't retarded. Seen 5 year olds write better stories then this.

3. Which brings to next point, I hate every character in your team. Their is a total of 1.5 characters that are decent. I can't even stand the rest at all. Paper thin personality, most I think are retarded.

Pretty much the only thing decent about Golden Sun was the Dijinn system which I do love which is only thing they got going for them. Should be ashamed to be called Golden Sun game. 5/10

So I wanted to make this post a while ago delving more into 999 since it was such a good game.

Spoiler:
Did like all the small details they put into the game. Though it takes a bit of thinking but the whole game flows fine even with the time paradox. With a firm understanding of how the paradox exists and works, can understand that they don't have holes. The whole June getting a fever every time you were off course meaning she was gonna die to the incinerator was an amazing touch. So was the whole everything on bottom screen was what June saw. Loved how it played into needing to flip the NDS at the end of true ending.

The less spoiler-ific stuff was interesting too. They take about some of the paradoxes like Locke's Sock. It was a very nice blend of Pseudo science and some real things. Really made me think about some of these things. It's rare to find them actually blend theory well into games. Most of them botch it up badly with their half baked science filled with holes. I am just very impressed how well done things are in this game are even down to the minor details.

It also helps to have a crazy Yandere ending too XD Play this even if you don't have NDS. Google: Desmume (NDS emulator for computer)
Actual ROM: [NDS] 5356 - Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (USA)(RobotKillers)

Last un related note: Rift betas suck. Just cause I was in first beta doesn't garuntee I will be in next ones. Don't get to keep play T_T

~Pearz

Been over a week

So noticed I am getting lazier and lazier with my updating, probably because I am just a lazy person.

Right now focusing more on my DS. Been playing 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 doors, which is a mystery/ puzzle visual novel. Really liking it. Haven't finished the true ending for this game yet but so far I like it alot. I think I got the worst ending though on my first play through XD (submarine one). Sigh, picking the super duper selfish choice XD. Way up their as 1 of the best DS games I played 9/10

Also earlier this week the latest Golden Sun came out on NDS. Knowing how awesome the first 2 were I was happy to see it would work on my outdated flashcart. Just need to finish the beating 999 and I can get started on Golden Sun.

Also attempting to apply as a writer for MMOsite. Problem is I been to lazy to write my application. If I can somehow manage to stop procrastinating, pretty sure I can get in.

Edit: finally beat the "true ending" of 999. Gotta say it is really well done. Some parts leading up to finishing the ending were kinda sketchy, but it all tied up nicely in the end. Think I am bumping it up to a 9.5/10

Side note: Axe ending = best one, so total win!!

~Pearz

Another week goes by

So finished watching Canaan. It wasn't bad but I don't think I can watch another Battle type anime for a while. It wasn't bad yet I couldn't even focus enough to keep watching it. Guess mangas ussually move faster and can't get used to slow pace that animes usually have. Overall not bad, 7/10

Currently waiting for the new Golden Sun game for the DS to come out. The first 2 were amazing and can't wait for this one to come out.

Rifts CB starts on Dec 3. No guarantee you can get in even with a beta key but here is to hoping. It was 1 of those super anticipated MMOs, see if it lives up to the hype.

Only other thing is the sad realization I'm no where near "pro" level at HON. Still get stomped hard by players that aren't even the "famous" ones.

~Pearz

So some new stuff

Slowly moving back into my "anime" phase where I want to watch more animes.

Latest anime series was True Tears.

Had nice pacing, some fanservice and a nice gripping story. Main thing was up until the end it was still back and forth who the main character would pick to be his girl. I had to keep pausing in utter fear he would pick wrong (yes their is only 1 correct choice). I would watch the OVA for it too but it apparently is an alternate universe where he picks the wrong choice which I don't want to watch. Either way was pretty good, had most of stuff I look for just feel bad for the best friend. They tied of everything nicely at the end though. 8/10

Also decided to play my first harvest moon game ever, Rune Factory 3. It was suppose to be RPG-ish mixed with harvest moon so I decided to try it. What I learned is the town is filled with like nothing but girls. Its like a 8:1 ratio of girls to boys, not to mention each girl had to have their own "catch". They each had their own specfic personality to seperate them from the rest which I found funny. Reminded me of Ookami-san, no character overlaps lulz.
It was fun at first but the constant farming feels tedious now. Not even gonna make it far enough to marry 1 of the girls tsk tsk. Though I realized I am a sucker for Tsunderes when it was in a game XD. I had the urge to follow around the girl that ignored me and ignored all the ones that tried to whore themselves. So effective D:
Best thing was their is a undubbed version so I don't need to listen to crappy English voice acting.

Still can't try Forsaken World, didn't get accepted to Phase 2 that makes me sad.

So pulling from my old list of animes I still haven't watched but been meaning to:
Kurenai, Kara No Kyoukai, Canaan, eve no jikan

~Pearz

From the depths of despair rises the dragon?

So for any others of you that attempted to play Forsaken World yesterday, you were in for a big surprise. Basically signing up early and the beta keys do not guarantee you into the first phase of CB.
So this has lost the meaning of "CB":
CB originally meant not everyone could play. Hence the "closed" part of it. Elite testers would get selected to post about bugs and such for the game while everyone else waits patiently for an OB to play.
Beta keys were handed out as events so the most diehard fans could get a chance to play it a bit.
With time most games lost this meaning Now CB for games are handed out in the billions and anyone that wants to join a game can easily get one. This is nearly no different from OB except games can now drop OB forever to avoid some liability. (though this is a whole different can of worms)
Now you come to FW, which totally lost the meaning of beta keys. Having a limited number of participants for CB is the original purpose but WHY MAKE USELESS KEYS? You enter a beta key that does nothing except give false hope to players thinking they can play come CB. I mean I was shocked to find I couldn't play yesterday and they beta key meant nothing. This has strayed so far from the original purpose of CBs and Keys. I mean I wouldn't be pissed if they didn't mislead me to believe I could play, mainly the lack of clarification was what hit hard. I was sad for a FULL HOUR staring at other people QQ on forums. So much spam in 1 hour, was pretty funny.

But this morning I came across something that made me happy. Pretty sure no one remembers but roll back 3 months, when I was still anticipating Soul Master I came across another game worth playing, Loong. Apparently the CB started yesterday, can't wait to try it today. (for those that don't know "Loong" sounds exactly like dragon in Chinese hence why game is hugely based on dragons and blog title)

For now Rho is in game and I can't yet and this is news from it:
It has 1 amazing feature like Megaten, no classes, instead your class is more based on skill tree. The jump in the game is real (~yay!)
There is stat points!?!??!?!!? I don't get it but every new age MMO has removed stat points. Why must we simplify things??? I love stat points.
The Quest autowalk system suppose to be really good. Color code the things so you can tell which are NPCs and which are mobs.

This is all what Rho says and I haven't tried it yet, either way, psyched to try this later tonight.

Other note: I rushed to beat Super Robot Taisen Og Saga: Endless Frontier on my DS (wanted to finish before FW came out which I failed to do but had plenty of time when I couldn't play FW)
Really long and fun game. Gotta be really good on the timing of attacks, the random encounters seemed less of a grind this way. Only thing was this game took a long time to play due to large amount of talking and billions of boss fights that each eat like 30 mins. Either way, loved the game though it was filled with fanservice, sigh, heavy Japanese culture game.

Vindictus patch came out early yesterday with introduction of their 3rd character, Evie. Normally I would be jumping for Joy but this is the crappier version of her. She is still mage only at this point. It isn't until later she is able to be a scythe user with a teleport for a dodge. Played her a bit to know I prefer Fiona over a have baked mage D:

Don't know why I keep posting about FF14 even though I didn't even try the beta, but since all eyes are watching and waiting for it to crash and burn, here:

That is their server stats for players logging in per day. Chunked off 18% of their player base in 20 days and during this time period they even extended the free trial period too. ~tsk tsk

~Pearz

So almost a week since last update

So played Iris for quite some time. In the end I realized that my initial choice for Pearz was the best. If I play Iris in Open beta, I will be a elf adventurer. My main toon for Iris made it to level 35 gladiator. Basically I stopped when GMs started handing out level 35 + 10 weapons to players. I was 1 of the few people that got one but it totally skews the balance of PVP. No point leveling my "main" character up to be wiped so done Iris for now. Got a pretty good grasp of all the gameplay stuff now.

For now, Forsaken World comes out on Wednesday. Looks decent and I would want to be a god (since I am already one XD) in that game.

Decided for the time between Iris and FW I ave picked up Super Robot Taisen Og Saga: Endless Frontier. Getting my ass kicked by this game but it is fun.

Side note: learned that Blizzcon happened this weekend. Showing Blizzard Dota (another one enters the power struggle for Dota fans) which I probably won't try.

The bigger news is the Diablo 3 news. With all the videos they showed, it makes me think the game is pretty much complete. Has got me thinking how badly I want to play D3. D3 might actually be a reality soon and not just a dream like every other Blizzard game........... unless were getting our hopes up again...............

Dynasty Warriors Online and stuff

So Vind OB has been back up for a couple days. Problem is that they aren't doing a wipe from before. Some players have amassed millions of gold leaving the economy extremely inflated atm. No huge deal but seems that Vind lags like hell for me now. Not server lag, but my own computer lag. Couldn't keep up for some reason even on minimum settings. Might have tweaked code too much, making it eat more resources. Either way, having been playing that much.

I also spent time retagging most the older posts. Put the Megaten tag back on a lot of the old posts. Just need to go over 1 more time to double check i got everything. Stupid blog housework.

After many grueling attempts at the new FF game for DS (4 heroes of light) I finally beat it. Gotta say it was a pretty good game, been a while since they tried to make games a bit more challenging. Had to die multiple times to beat it.

Finally got around to finishing 1 episode of every 1 of the new animes. My person fall lineup (more for my own reference so I can remember):
Tuesdays: Glee
Thursday: Big Bang Theory, How I met your Mother, The Office
Saturday: MM!
Sunday: Bakuman, Oreimo, Psychic Detective Yakumo

So tried Dynasty warriors Online. Only played for a good 15-20 mins before I stopped. 1 Huge problem I had was the camera. Now I generally don't like playing games with a mouse, but I got used to using one lately to HON and play Vind. Problem is that the Camera won't Rotate unless either you stop your character down for a split second. So you can't rotate it around as you keep moving around to fight giving you random stopping. Very annoying. Didn't like the graphics much either, something just didn't click. 1 Thing I did enjoy was that you could pick exactly the hair/eye color you wanted. Don't know why more games don't just give you full spectrum and give you a few preset colors.

Currently lvl 20 in Iris Online. I'll review it later.

~Pearz

New MMOs this week

Vindictus OB = Oct 13 (tommorow)
Dynasty warrior online CB = Oct 14th

We(Rho, Aaro and me) will be playing both when it comes out. Vind we willget boat 3 for another area to try out. Dynasty warriors doesn't seem like anything special, maybe it will wow and amaze me but I strongly doubt it.

For future stuff looking forward to:
Forsaken World = CB Oct 27th
Argo Online = CB Dec 28
Iris Online = Fall 2010 (I hope soon)

Also been playing the new FF game for DS, The 4 heroes of light. Must say it is pretty difficult that I'm not used to. Gotta talk to like all the NPCs to learn where to go, and I pretty much had to die to every boss to learn their element to counter it on 2nd try. Pretty fun game XD

So delayed on animes, haven't even watched 1 eps of all the new season lineup yet. All I know is World God only knows is off the list. I hate the voices and the anime seemed to make the overall story shittier.

Final Funny note: FF14 sure getting alot of rage. I wonder how people can really believe a content patch will come weeks from official release. You look at any MMO, that initial content it comes with makes up at least 50% if not more of the content the game ever has before it dies. Most games barely add anything after initial, hard to believe Sqnix will be much different. After all, You don't build half a bridge then open it up saying the rest will be coming very soon, that wouldn't float for anyone and FF is no exception.

~Pearz

Plants VS Zombies

So a couple days (maybe longer) Lndi came to chatbox telling me to play plants VS zombies (PVZ). I have heard of it before but I never cared enough to try. Just knew it was extremely popular.

So last night I decided to try it out. Finished it in 1 night, was pretty fun if your into tower defense games.

Anyways, Legend of Edda comes out in a couple hours, Rho and Aaro will make the opening chime but I'll miss it. For now we are gonna be playing on: (you can get a key here if you need one)
Faction: Olympius
Rho: Swordsman
Pearz: Archer
Aaro: Mage

see how this game goes

Side Note: Still no working rom of Etrian Odyssey 3 for DS. Sigh, my old outdated NDSTT card. To cheap to buy newer models for my outdated DS D:

~Pearz

Nice and short

Started playing Mass effect. So far its pretty good, my consensus is that shotguns are imba. Either way The game is unnecessarily difficult. Like all Bioware games, it is plagued with bugs. I can't manually save and rely on the autosave, also randomly my "E" (use) key stop working and I'm forced to load (coupled with the no manual save is bad). Tack on that my comp lags a bit makes FPS games much more difficult when it isn't smooth. I'm almost finished the first one and probably move to 2nd to see how it turns out.

For anime decided to watch Kannagi. Also caught up on some English movies: Salt, Date night, Tekken ( lulz they have a movie XD)

Tried another DS game before Mass Effect. Monster Rancher DS, since I played the PS version. Due inability to skip alot of text boxes and it needs to load every other thing makes it much less enjoyable. Not fun clicking boxes instead of skipping through and spending rest of time in load screens. Either way its dropped D: (could also be I couldn't find a monster I wanted to raise)

~Pearz

Updatez

So been busy week as it was my exams so not much to updates.

Finally stopped playing Dragon quest 9. Spent hours upon hours making gear to better prepare for the "final" dungeon (its repeat maps you keep going as difficulty goes up). When I was finally ready, I ran it once and got bored. Guess I Find games more fun making your gear and such top notch then actually playing them game as I do this with many games D:

Though it was fun while it lasted, been a while since I sunk so many hours on a DS game.

Other notes, still no sub on Eden of east 2nd movie. Wonder why it's taking so long, would thing something that popular would be subbed fast. Ookami-san fast being 1 of my top animes really liking where it's going. Hope the ending impresses me as the series has so far.

Still just playing HON, hoping a good new MMO shows up to drain the next 2 weeks I have off. For now, decided to catch up on some random english movies over summer.

Guess that's it for an update.

Side note: the recent heavy updates you can see as a way to procrastinate studying my exams XD

~Pearz

Pearz has been busy

Been meaning to make an update but been busy past couple days ~goumen

So couple things been doing, A grinding EXP in Dragon quest 9 since I'm on final boss and can't beat him. Was pretty funny, you fight 3 bosses at the end, I could beat first 2 and failed bad on 3rd one. I went and looked at a guide, recommended level = 44-45, and I look at my team with highest level 37 lulz. Ended up doing alot of the side quest stuff since their is so much D:

Either way having fun grinding Dragon quest 9.

Also finished watching 11eyes. It wasn't as bad as reviews put it out to be. I think people didn't like it cause its a Shouen story to begin with but branches out at end to ot follow that style and people didn't like it. The ones that like that style probably never even picked it up. Either way another solid 7/10, nothing spectacular but wasn't as bad as reviews made it out to be.

For now watching somthing else I should have watched a while ago, Kara no Kyoukai. See if it is up to the hype.

As for Soul Master, truth be told I think that Content release schedule will lead to alot of broken hearts. When a GM team can't even update who won their CB events almost a week after OB started, 2 weeks since CB ended it doesn't seem the GM team is doing much. Not to mention you can check the content the JP server has, and they don't even have anything they mentioned in that post. So unless were getting these updates same time as JP (highly unlikely due to translation time) it will be nothing but a sea of broken promises.

Stealth Edit: Already been broken heart, Orea claimed the reviews would be based more or less on content as well as viewer. The top 2 winners were both posted on a forums where views = clicks where as posting on other places like mine were unique clicks zZzZzZzZzZz

So just yesterday Force pointed out a MMO entering CB soon, Iris online. Due to fact that I like anime-ish MMOs, I will definitely check it out. Also on that note, saw the new Guild wars 2 trailer and that definitely made me want to try it out.

Almost a week later but I regained most my HON skills to bad good teammates are hard to come by. B> competent teammates

Final note: Rho and Aaro will be back from Exile in China in a week, with probably a long long long long blog post to come.

~Pearz

Randomness

So just another random rant:

1) Started playing Dragon Quest 9 again (For DS), got pretty far, but I'm near the end and keep getting owned by same boss. Maybe I'll try it again later D:

2)11eyes seems to be your typical Shouen-esque stories, owelz nothing like cliche stories to pass the time.

3) So SoulMaster announced a content release schedule. If they are faithful to this amount of releases, it might be worth it to go back. I'll see after the first content patch comes in, not like levels in this game are that important, can always join later.

4) God I curse you Starcraft 2, 3 shows still don't have subs yet because of you(Eden of east 2nd movie, Katanagatari eps 8, Seitokai Yakuindomo eps 7) . SUCH BLASPHEMY to make me wait on free things. *shakes fist at sky*

5) So yesterday while at the supermarket, I noticed something AMAZING:

I was all like ZOMGZ and bought 2 packs(other one has already been eaten D:). Used to be sold only in a small privately owned supermarket but that went under and I haven't had 1 of these in like 3 years. God they're so delicious, hopefully they keep selling now that it is in a big chain supermarket, though they're nothing like the Onigiri you see in like Animes XD

PS. I fail at HON horribly now, think I'm on a 6 game losing streak atm.

/random rant over

New patch after thoughts

Well seems just as much QQing on forums lately even though charm prices dropped. That's Allod forums for you. I said when I first started I don't know how the GMs stay sane with this many retards on the forums. ~sigh sigh

Well main reason for post is I do wanna retract something incorrect in my last post. The fresh 40s may have a slower time then before gearing up, but it was not as bad as it first seemed. Blown outta proportion by forum QQers like always.

All the Heroics are alot easier now. You got players able to solo Heroics now. Even I can tank for the red rings no problem. Oreshek is just a joke now. Much more friendly for lvl 40s in blues then it used to be. Not to mention most of the time 2 epics drop now from final boss, add on lots of new blues (good ones :O) dropping from trash mobs too. Really helps cushion the blow for new level 40s better then it used to when players first hit the heroics.

Only real issue is players won't be able to full legendary anywhere as easily as it used to be but meh. At least you can get those epics to be able to compete a bit.

Also I started playing Dragon Quest 9 for DS. Seems decent so far though it does feel a bit grindy.

Edit: Forgot to mention I'm sure glad I made PVP videos before the patch, seems much less PVP action. Might be cause I haven't been to temple often either......

~Pearz

some more random stuff

So picked up a new anime this week, Angel Beat. Really love this anime and finale comes this week. Really worth watching, has everything I look for in an anime at least.

Second news is I found a good DS game, Spectral Force Genesis. Kinda like a dumbed down version of Civilization but anime-ish. Still fun nonetheless.

Thats is all, btw France goes home in pure shame world cup lulz

Edit: watched some of these shitty PVP videos on you tube, might make one for my Pally and Mage. The 2 from Yatta just make me go wtf, especially since I got both mage and 26 pally.
