It has been a while since I talked about the only game I still play: HON. So, yesterday, I played a few matches and lost all of them. It was mainly one match where I was the lowest (1700 MMR) in the game with all 1800 MMR players. The difference in skill was quite obvious, which wasn't horrible as I was only playing slightly under the average level. The problem lies in the fact that I am a solo mid/carry player; if I was playing a support, I would have been fine. It is implied that the one going mid and carrying is generally the best player. If I am not the best player in the game, then most of the time the game is lost. The skill difference between me and the carries of the game were black and white. As I go up in MMR, it's getting harder and harder to carry, which proves that I am almost at my limit for MMR, until I improve drastically.
Just that realization that I am pretty much hard capped at around 1750 MMR at this point (and even reaching that level would still need some luck) sucks. I just can't cut it as a carry in those high-tier games. I guess I'm stuck as a low 1700 player forever; at least I will always be the best in the team in this range. XD
Just my random woes that I will never be able to break out of this ceiling of my skill level. QQ
For the past week in HON, they've let anyone create free accounts to play with the matchmaking system. Now, I am not extremely pro (1670 MMR at this time), but I do excel at taking down the other mid player, even among my own bracket. So, mid-ability wise, I am playing better than the average player of my tier.
Another week goes by, and still no confirmed date for when the last 2 episodes of Madoka will air.
So instead, I once again bring you something half-Madoka related. GG's trolling has reached even HON. I now have the Mourning Lescue mod for my HON gaming. There's nothing like a bit of trolling in HON - I mean, the game is filled with trolls and ragers anyways. I'm slowly climbing back up to 1700MMR right now. Although, after dropping so far in MMR, I know I clearly don't belong in that bracket yet. I can now single-handedly win games by dominating the mid lane with ease. It's giving me a chance to practice with heroes I don't normally use, like Tiny (Pebbles) and Gladiator (which is quickly being one of my top picks since I'm getting really good with him).
As I start glancing over at other people's anime blogs and such, I realize things that I have in my area (Toronto) and others are vastly different. Toronto has a large Asian population (me being part of it) and it's the second largest city in Canada. So, naturally, we have various Asian malls and supermarkets. Lots of the things (like Japanese foods, figurines, and even manga) can be found without too much difficulty. I'm hoping that, at this rate, Morning Rescue will show up in the supermarkets. I mean, I can buy those same onigiri (which absolutely awesome, by the way) you see in anime. I guess an environment like this would be loved by most people, but I've just grown to view it as a norm.
I guess this is just a random rant to pass time as I procrastinate doing the IS post. I really shouldn't have picked it to blog about.
It's been a while since I made a non-anime post...
So, lately, I've been playing a lot more HON matches. A while back when I first made a post about Dota 2, it was before I started looking into the HON Competitive Scene. Lately, I've been watching some of the streams of competitive matches, which has helped improve my game a bit.
Side note: Today, I played in a match with the person (breakycpk) that does the casting of those shows and WOW... Just, wow. Granted, I didn't do exceptionally well at mid - but compared to the fact that he gave a free feed at the start of the game to their mid hero and then handed off a free-farm to bot (to their carry) is by far much, much worse. It was still astounding how well their carry farmed; it was like our heroes weren't even in the lane.
Now, we all have some bad games here and there, but these 6 games were killer. Not only do they rival some of my current worst games, but they were put together back-to-back. This just put me to WTF RAGE.
Some background first: I generally play the mid or carry. My favourites for the mid are carries like Soulstealer, Forsaken Archer, and Corrupted Disciple. My current HON stats are here.
The game started off with them screaming for me to pick Hellbringer over Dark Lady, since Blue would carry with Zephyr, so I made the concession and went with Tundra. The game then started normally...until I realized, "NO WARDS!?!??!?!" Now, I'm not one to rage QQ about supporting and, as a Tundra, I can scout runes myself, so I let this pass. Being a better mid player than the opposing Moon Queen, I proceeded to dominate her with rune control and first-blooded her around lv7. At this point, I decided to go ganking to help the other lanes, which is where the trip downhill began.
I quickly learned that at top, Rampage and Chipper had pure hatred for each other and were trying to get the other killed. When I tried to go up to save Chipper, he ran the other way so that I couldn't save him. *facepalm*
From there on, every gank I ran failed since they had wards (and saw me coming), whereas we didn't. Conversely, since I was not at mid, I couldn't tell which way MQ was going, leading to many successful ganks on their side.
Long story short, we got one ward placed 20min in by our carry, Blue, but it was too little too late. We had already lost horridly.
It didn't help that Myrmidon insisted on using his mic even though no one could hear him, and Rampage and Zephyr talked in some non-English language, assuming we understood.
I thought that nightmare was over, but then began...
Now, I'm not much of a support player, but when the team decides they must be xx hero, I'm forced to balance team out by supporting. The game started and I began thinking that this would be a joke of a game. They had 4 carries and Tempest; we could win this pretty fast.
There's not much to say; the early game was about getting stomped badly until the mid game began. I would keep calling to push the towers down, but we decided to run off and farm instead of pushing together. There were wild goose chases for heroes in jungles, which would lead to getting counter-ganked. Our team decided to run around, doing whatever they wanted, while their team ran as an actual team. They played together and demolished our lack of teamwork. It was probably the least rage-filled game. It was just another game lost to bad teamwork. It's sad, because it was a game we should have won easily, if we had just pretended to work together.
Now, this was a Banning Draft game. We clearly got the better picks as a team, and Soulstealer is one of my best. I was pretty confident going into this game. Then the game began and so did the pain. The other team ran two players mid against me, leaving bot for solo Kraken against Sand Wraith and Torturer. Tort asked if he was needed mid, but I refused since I had confidence in my skill (and, also, a farmed Sand could win by himself). I did not see myself getting utterly destroyed at mid by the two of them. Two heroes were out-levelling me and keeping me clearly out of the EXP range of the creeps. I knew this lane was gone and had become a free farm for Disciple, but I didn't realize that the other lanes had lost just as bad.
Armadon and Plague Rider lost top, giving off a free farm to Magebane. I still don't even know how this is possible. Bot gave off two kills to a solo Kraken, leaving all three lanes in bad shape. When Disciple, with his free farm from mid, starting ganking around, we couldn't even leave the base. The game ended 10min later, and we got demolished.
After such a huge slaughter, I wanted to redeem my SS. I mean, how could I lose with SS twice in a row? It was a simple reason why we lost this time: zero support. There was no courier, so obviously also no wards. They even ran against me 2v1 in mid (this NEVER HAPPENS and then it happened twice in a row...) This time, the players facing me were much less skilled. They could not keep me out of the lane, and I was at least keeping up with the farm of the two of them, which is good for 2v1.
However, having no courier forced me to walk home for my items twice, which really slowed me down. Combined with zero rune control, I had no idea who was getting ganked when one of them walked off.
Now, with a dual mid, their solo lane was top for Wild Soul. It was expected that Rho would win that lane, being 2v1, until I learned that this Wild Soul was insanely good. He just ran in, slaughtering them, and this was combined with the mid heroes ganking bot constantly, destroying that lane too. They just pushed together with better coordination, and we were running an under-farmed SS and lacked any nuking power to initiate.
They slowly pushed us back until we finally lost. Two horrible defeats in a row with one of my best with a lane setup that never happens; who would have thought?
We had a Wild Soul and I wanted to give Rho as Swiftblade the better farm at top, so I went bot to take the punishment. As expected, it was a horrible lane. I gave their carry, Magebane, a free farm. That, combined with me missing a lot of my slows, hurt a lot.
I had faith that Rho would carry, so I kept at it, buying out wards to give our team sight (something we got none of in the other games). The other support here bought zero wards all game, despite playing one of the biggest support heroes in game. Sigh... I should have known, since the guy kept spamming over his mic just to piss the team off. That was when mid kept getting ganked from the top heroes, and he would be screaming into his mic about the lack of wards and lack of MIA calls. Eventually, Magebane decided he was done free farming and ran around destroying everyone. So much for mid coming to slowing him down... It was a gruelling game supporting combined with people raging over mic.
Blacksmith insisted on going mid even though we had a much better choice with Bubbles. It was no surprise when he got his ass handed to him by Soulstealer. Behemoth, being the amazing asshole, forced me to go bot (which is not as good a lane for a carry), since he was all, "OMGZ I NEED FARM TOO." I was fine, since I would be facing the Sand Wraith, and would be potentially slowing him down in his process of destroying our team .
The game was starting off well, with us keeping Sand from farming...until backup came. Mid had gotten annihilated (no surprise), so their mid proceeded to move to the other lanes, destroying those too. We got zero warning from our mid, other than him raging about how bad it was and how unlucky he was. The team fights had started, and I wasn't farmed enough. As the game dragged on bit-by-bit, Sand finally came in, swept us all up and then the game was over. If only our mid hadn't failed so hard... It wasn't a huge WTF loss, but it didn't help that I had lost horridly five times in a row before this.
So, six complete losses in a row; we didn't stand a chance, no matter what we picked.
So, here's my weekly random update. It was double EXP this week in Allods, so I decided to level my Pally, Thaze, to lv30. I spread out the levels between my two twinks so there'd be more diversity in duelling. The main reason was that I wanted to try out the Sacred Sunrise Build. The build is decent, with insane heals, but the only problem is that with warriors, it's a solid loss. Stony Resistance is pretty much an instant win against this SS build. Owelz, it's still a fun build to run.
I've been playing more HON lately. I decided to include my referral code so that if anyone else wants to buy the game, I get 500 free coins. As of now, my stats are decent; it's too bad I got stomped hard today. There were around four wins out of a total fifteen matches. That's pretty gruesome stuff. These team games require competent teammates. I'm still not at that pro level where I can do everything myself. I wish I was that good... D:
Side note: I'm dropping Fractale after two episodes; it just didn't feel gripping. Maybe if it gets good reviews, I'll consider re-picking it up. I haven't even been able to start episode 3 of Madoka; something about it just makes me go bleh.
This series was sitting on my computer for a at least 8-9 months, and I randomly decided to watch it this week. I initially turned it off after 2-3 mins for an unknown reason since it has been that long.
I gotta say it was decent, though it did feel to short. Felt almost like slice of life due to it's short eps and zero plot development. Just small stories introducing characters. I generally don't like these kind of genres but I guess the futuristic setting got me watching it, plus I wanted to know what would happen to Sammy. Pretty good short watch, hope they make a second season, I would definitely watch. 7.5/10
So lately been kinda conflicted. I know other blogs tend to recap a whole eps when doing them per eps but I feel it ruins it if you watch it afterwards. It is why mine posts been generally shorter and more vague. You ruin the joke when they know it is coming. Probably add the spoiler button into every eps or something of that sort will be what I do, guess I'll see.
From looks of it, most the stuff I watch will all be coming out on Thursday making it much more strenuous to get posts done right after it is subbed. Might post more based on spread out animes that I watch then to bundle up the work. This will probably make Thursdays my look forward day of the week ( Infinite Stratos, big Bang Theory, The Office, Yumekei Merry, all the weekly Shounen Jump Manga, and not watching Madoka like everyone else. I just don't see the allure D:)
Gonna Start working on an About: Pearz page since that other one I added was much more general to the blog. Maybe Rho and Aaro will make one too if they even care anymore.
Old news but I broke 7 TSR for quite some time now for new ranked matches for HON, which is extremely high. To bad I still get stomped hard by the "real" pros. Makes me QQ hard when I get shut out so badly D: /hates teamates
So today (since past midnight) marks a torn choice.
HON 2.0- The matchmaking was tested yestarday and proved almost bug free, expected to be full implemented today.
Allods - The new full PVP anticipated update has arrive. Should be playable later 2day too.
Rifts- Apparently I got selected again to participate in the next CB that starts today.
Probably choose Allods, since Rho can get a chance to try out Rift on my account and HON didn't really have much change. Can save that for later.
Realized alot of more anime-ish blogs do a 12 days of anime christmas where they recount amazing anime moments of the year. Problem is it would be a post a day and I don't think I can keep up a post a day and would have to pre-write most of it before hand. Maybe I can do it next year if I remember. For now this moment is absolutely hilarious. I knew High School of the Dead was insane fanservice but bullet time boobs that move as fast as bullets? That's new:
So side note is I started writing a short story for Allods Guild event. Chance to create yet another ego induced random wad of garbage for people to read. Fun ^_^ Probably post it up here when I am done, Though at this rate, it isn't gonna be a very short story.
End note: Turns out the leaked Blizzard schedule is confirmed to be real. Guess we will be seeing a next-gen MMO coming from Blizzard in the future, sounds interesting.
First non-NDS based thing, decided to start playing Allods again. The new PVP patching coming will be nice.
Second non-NDS thing, HON 2.0 is botched so bad. Making a the patch centered around Matchmaking but not have match making out is fail. Pretty unplayable now without matchmaking.
So firstly I finally beat the 3rd Golden Sun for the DS. I gotta say this is probably the worse Golden Sun. This was a joke of a game compared to the other Golden Suns or even most the other games in general. Let me list out the problems:
1. Easy, can pretty much be beaten blindfolded. The puzzles are made simple, and bosses need zero planning. Just Leroy in.
2. The storyline is paper thin. Nothing gripping at all for story maybe cause their "quest" is just stupid. Their is zero sense of urgency till near the end, and even then *semi spoiler* it is your fault. Coulda been easily avoided if your characters weren't retarded. Seen 5 year olds write better stories then this.
3. Which brings to next point, I hate every character in your team. Their is a total of 1.5 characters that are decent. I can't even stand the rest at all. Paper thin personality, most I think are retarded.
Pretty much the only thing decent about Golden Sun was the Dijinn system which I do love which is only thing they got going for them. Should be ashamed to be called Golden Sun game. 5/10
So I wanted to make this post a while ago delving more into 999 since it was such a good game.
Spoiler:
Did like all the small details they put into the game. Though it takes a bit of thinking but the whole game flows fine even with the time paradox. With a firm understanding of how the paradox exists and works, can understand that they don't have holes. The whole June getting a fever every time you were off course meaning she was gonna die to the incinerator was an amazing touch. So was the whole everything on bottom screen was what June saw. Loved how it played into needing to flip the NDS at the end of true ending.
The less spoiler-ific stuff was interesting too. They take about some of the paradoxes like Locke's Sock. It was a very nice blend of Pseudo science and some real things. Really made me think about some of these things. It's rare to find them actually blend theory well into games. Most of them botch it up badly with their half baked science filled with holes. I am just very impressed how well done things are in this game are even down to the minor details.
It also helps to have a crazy Yandere ending too XD Play this even if you don't have NDS. Google: Desmume (NDS emulator for computer)
Actual ROM: [NDS] 5356 - Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors (USA)(RobotKillers)
Last un related note: Rift betas suck. Just cause I was in first beta doesn't garuntee I will be in next ones. Don't get to keep play T_T
So I think this is the first time a "major" manga ended with me following most of the way. By that I am refering to Psyren. Started off really strong but near the end kinda felt like it didn't flow as well. Left on a decently strong point though which is good. At least the author had a good 10-15 chapters to wrap things up since the author clearly knew cancellation was coming soon anyways. Ending was still abrupt but could have been much worse. It's strong start makes me want to read whatever series he comes up with next too.
If you want to understand how popularity effect cancellation of mangas read "Bakuman". Explains things well and very good manga in general, probably top for long running atm in my books.
So realized that the only animes I can stand nowadays are humor. Battle seems to slow and done much better in mangas and some very specific type of humor gets me going. Sadly that type only exists in Harems and fanservice filled animes like MM! and Oriemo. MM! I think the most cosplay I have ever seen in any anime. Ever eps the main characters cosplay something different (off top of head, police, nurse, maid, wedding dress, camo and many others). Oriemo I don't even know why I still watch. I hate the main character, I hate his sister and only the side characters seemed interesting. ~sigh, should just remove all those fail main characters.
Probably other more random news is LoL 2.0 is getting ported into HON with introduction of casual mode. Literally took all the crap from LoL that "casual gamers" love about LoL and made it into casual mode.
Other then that fail mode that I wouldn't consider even trying once to taint my stats, the other small stuff will be amazing like new skins and team matchmaking.
Still working my way through Golden Sun, not that far yet though. So far not bad.
Last note adding in the Winter anime season chart for upcoming animes. All I can say is their is this sudden surge of Ecchi/ Harem animes lately. It makes up at least 90% of them this season.
So don't know how many people that play HoN/DotA/LoL come to my blog but it was said quite some time that Icefrog was working with Steam to further expand Dota. Yestarday, it was finally announced that Steam would be hosting Dota 2 slated to come out next year.
Now since this post is dedicated purely to Dota, (considered adding in random stuff but I won't) lead me on a trip down memory lane. Going to be a nice long read that most people will find boring but owelz. I have time to write this at work right now. I'll start with my own brief biography of my life of Dota.
I still remember my first Dota match ever. I don't even remember what Hero my friend was using but being Rho and my first match, he let us 2 v 1 him in Dota. I had picked Anti-mage for being the model using demon hunter that looked kool, while Rho picked Vengeful spirit being the hero a the top corner of 1 of the taverns. Even 2 v 1, we got slaughtered since we had no clue what we were doing. It only took 1 game though to be addicted. My first hero me going WTF about was Lina Inverse, The slayer. She having all these crazy nukes was WTF for me. From their, my next hero was Nerubian Assassin. He could go invisible and come out with all these nukes. Looking back, typical nub heroes for players with no skill *piff*. After this came the huge phase of swapping from hero to hero trying them all out and never finding one that really stuck. Now the biggest spur for my blast from the Dota past comes from my first real hero I could say took some skill that I liked and dominated with and was starting to consider myself a decent player. Nevermore, the shadow Fiend. He had amazing nukes that took skill to land, and some insane damage from his skills. Even now I play him as his HoN reincarnation, Soul Stealer.
Now my 2nd hero I moved to that I remember the most was Morphling. I really loved him and they even have him on 1 of the posters released for Dota 2.
He was so good. Changing to exactly what you need for the fight. An extremely versatile hero that even had a nice nuke, a stun and an escape move. He was the best. Though all good things come to an end, it wasn't long after discovering him that he was deemed too good and nerfed.
Now comes to my final hero of Dota that was unshaken-ably my best and favorite hero even now, the Nerubian Weaver. Weaving in and out of the fight, perfect escape and chase move. Late game potential without the fear of death early game with his ult and run skill. The perfect mix of pure ownage. If only HoN would import him over.
Now starts my HoN phase. Now during my whole time in Dota (maybe not near the end) I played purely EM(easy mode or short mode) games. This is deemed by my standard and general Dota standard as broken and for nubs. (Though thats a whole new can of worms of discussion that would last few pages) With start of Hon, I struggled with the transition from em to non-EM games. Just simply lowering the free gold you gain and exp by a bit and the whole game changed drastically. I look back now on my EM days and just shake my head, I was clearly nub. Nothing major for heroes, I pretty much run the same top heroes as I did when I first started HoN, Moon Queen and Dark Lady. Both heroes top my list and even in a horrible team I shine through with these heroes.
Side Story: Used to play Moon Queen alot with maphack abuse on Dota.
Only noteable thing about HoN was we kind of ran a set team for a couple months of: Me, Rho, JonGhost (the Aeria gamesage, he was godly at playing HoN), Jolt (the GM from Megaten, which told us many insider things of MT), and Kiroshima (or sometimes another person I forgot. Either way they were both horrid and fed XD Kiroshima still plays HoN and is much better) We won alot back then running a set team even with a feed since Jon would run around owning, I would play the carry in case things drew out, Rho had the support, and Jolt flipped around with int and sometimes carry, Kiro would do whatever XD.
I can say though, comparing my skill when I was in that set team to now, I think I improved alot due to using the TSR mod. Giving a numerical comparison with my peers made me buckle down and focus on always doing good rather then just killing and getting random nice games where I dominate.
Now first let me start off by bashing the fact of anyone comparing LoL to Dota, and much stupider to think that Dota 2 will instantly end HoN and LoL like that article writers title.
1) HoN and Dota are pretty much the same with same map and even a larege sum of the same heroes. LoL on other hand is nothing like Dota. It lacks even fundamental mechanics like denying or losing gold on death. Many fundamental things were removed to shift focus to team fights and removed many elements elsewhere. Examples like emphasis on laning phase, ganking, denying exp, and juking through woods. Learn basics of how game works is fine, but as a player that played both HoN and LoL, Hon Moving to LoL takes 1-2 matches to figure ropes. LoL moving to HoN would take minimum of a week, closer to month to even have any semblance of looking decent. Many more months if you want to be pro which many don't reach.
Tl:DR; LoL and Dota is completely different.
2) The thought that Dota 2 can snuff out all the competition is absurd. Thats like claiming Starcraft 2 will end all other RTS games which includes another 1 of blizzard franchise, Warcraft. First thing, if Dota 2 is monthly subscription, it is instantly game over. It won't even take off the ground. Players coming from free (Dota), or F2P (LoL), or 1 box cost of 30 dollars (HoN) would never accept paying monthly. The costs would be huge and no one would pay. Even assuming they don't follow that model, what incentive does it have to move players from the HoN community to the Dota one? I mean personally, I paid 30 dollars already for HoN, why would I pay again to play Dota 2 if nothing big is changed?
The Major issue with Dota 2 will be finding a player base. Sure they will have the hardcore Dota fans that won't settle with HoN, but you need to give a reason for people to move. Category 1 would be Dota players still playing Warcraft 3 version. These people are already to cheap to pay 30 dollars for HoN, many won't pay for Dota 2 either, with only a small sum moving.
Category 2 would be LoL players. These won't move since the game is totally different and they play LoL for the different gameplay. Category 3 is HoN players. Since no real large change, many won't move. The conversion from Dota to HoN already fixed the biggest issues like voice chat, maphack, bugs and faulty engine. Only real "new thing will be the AI in Dota 2 which I'll go more deeply in point 3. Category 4 will be random players. Obviosuly these people will flock and try it just cause and can't really account for how many. This and hardcore dota fans will be majority of playerbase which I don't think will compare to LoL or HoNs player base right now. (HoN has a good 20k players online at any point in the day meaning like a good 60-70k people log in daily. Pretty hard to compete with.
3) Now the new features coming with Dota 2 in all the articles about it combined are summed down to these points, voice chat, AI, better graphics, and just more stable platform. Of these, HoN already has all but the AI so that is the "major" point. Now it is said that this AI is suppose to provide a training tutorial which I feel is good way to at least learn ropes. Afterall, the Dota community is by far the most harass community to newcomers in any game out their. People will complain about even the tiniest mistake so walking in not knowing what your doing combined with voice chat means you can hear them scream at you and not just cap locked typing.
The problem with the AI is the 2nd feature. This would actually deter me from playing Dota 2, substituting players that leave game with the AI bot. Now a game like Dota requires way to many on the fly decisions to create an AI for. To know when to juke, when to chase when not to, who to target in fights, which order, waiting for perfect time to initiate or join fight, or when know have ganking sense tingle and run away. just tons and tons of things to program into AI that would impossible task. Like any AI, will be tested thoroughly by players and abused and killed over and over again. Substituting a AI in a match would be worse then running 4 v 5.
Overall even being a fan of Dota and missing many of my favorite heroes from Dota while playing Hon, I would not consider moving to play Dota 2. They would need something amazing to make me want to move over to it. (especially if they use the old Dota hotkey system which would totally screw me over now that I'm used to the HoN skill keyboard map system. I still press some of the Dota hotkeys by instinct for some of the heroes when I'm playing)
TL:DR; Dota 2 will be hardpressed to find a player base without somehow overshadowing HoN.
So finished Mass effect 2 last night, and it wasn't as bad as Rho put it out to be. Basically the game focuses almost entirely building your team and your teams back story. The main storyline is actually really short but how thoroughly you did your side quests determine how the main storyline will progress.
Overall, I found fully exploring the characters side quests was fun. Gives it more back-story on the races and stuff rather then a long winded quest for main character.
So not really going to really break it down for this, it gets a 7/10. Nothing special, but was decently enjoyable overall.
On a side note: Vindictus should open up in a few hours, be in chat box for on spur key :O
Disclaimer note: In 10 matches you won't be able to learn the ropes fast enough and be raged on hard for feeding the enemy. Hope you like people screaming at you over chat system about how bad you are XD
So last week at work, was the exact day they released the new claymore chapter (107). Since then my chrome auto loaded out my last tabs and I re-read the chapter. Now a week later, forums are blaring with rage over this chapter as I was when I first saw it.
So this involves huge spoilers, Don't click if you want to read chapters chronologically.
Spoiler:
So The biggest thing about this chapter is my favorite claymore, and 1 of my favorite characters in anime in general, die. Poor Miria D:
Since I assume some of you clicking this don't read claymore and reading this anyways for god knows why. Miria is basically the cool, calm, collected leader of the "rogue" group of claymores the main character is part of. In every chapter she is in, she is portrayed to be intelligent and calculative type.
Now the problem with this chapter wasn't so much that she died, but how she died. For a character that seemed nearly omniscience, she acted totally out of character this whole chapter almost as if the author wanted her to die forcefully and didn't care how.
The introduction of the number 10 claymore being all powerful and used purely for fighting the other claymore is a huge plot hole. The idea of how many claymores went rogue like Teresa, yet she never appeared. Clearly your expertise could have slowed Teresa down enough, and maybe have changed the anime as a whole since Clare would lose her reason d'etre.
Their have been much more lengthy posts about how out raged people are about this since it seems Miria was a much loved character. First all 3 abyssal beings portrayed as all powerful are all dead now, with no more "big badies" the author most resort to killing off main characters.
I hope they pull a "bleach" lulz
Every chapter ends with a "final Blow" that turns out to be not so final lulz
Only real final blow in bleach happens when you see the flash back XD
Side note: Aaro, Rho and I watched The girl who leapt through time over the weekend. For an anime that won a bazillion awards, it wasn't amazing. I mean not bad, but not jaw droppingly good. Mainly felt their were to many unanswered questions. Things kinda just fall in place. Also learned Rho has the weirdest rating system, I mean 5/10 = watchable which is my 7 D: And my system already considered harsh compared to other raters (._.)
Side Note Part 2: Current list of MMOs in order of want:
Blade and Soul > Iris Online > Guild Wars 2 > Legend of Edda
Side Note part 3: Started playing Mass Effect 2 again since i reduced graphics enough to be "playable". Also been playing HON more with Rho. Downloaded a tool to calculate TSR (true skill rating). Formula for it is long, and tweaked for so that the "average" player = 5.
1-3 = suck
4-6 = average
6+ = amazing
I learned that even though I play decently, I DON'T EVEN REACH 5!!!! I mean granted, almost no body reaches even 5 for TSR, I am greatly saddened by the fact I'm not even considered average player for HON. The description of the tool was right:
"TSR is a very harsh rating system where players are generally rated between 0-10, however values greater than 10 do exist. An average player should have a TSR of 5.0."
So Due to the fact that Rho sucks horribly at kart rider, and S4 decided to glitch her account, she has forced me back into playing HON. (For those that don't know, it's the most hardcore and most faithful to the current Dota)So you can find me there.
On Anime-ish note, I finished watching Baka to test to shoukanjuu, It is pretty funny, I love Shoko.
I also blame SC2 for all the delays lately for Anime releases D: (Eden of East 2nd movie's raw has been out for a week and still no subs)
Since I happen to come across this:
Seems like their remaking a new season to alot of old animes, hope it's not pure fail made purely for milking money D:
