Gundam Age 27 - Arc End?

I am not sure if this marks the end of this arc or not. You would think everything is over now that the fortress has fallen but the preview minutes make it seem like they aren't done battling it out. I mean you even had that reunion scene too. Btw, post delayed again due to Sword Girls. I am currently #1 in ladder for a 1k cash prize with a small lead on my competition. Tomorrow is the final day so all my attention is there.

Gundam Age 26 - Goodnight Sweet Prince

They couldn't resist could they?

I think I predicted this would happen a few episodes ago, so it came as no surprise that Woolf was turned into a plot device for Asemu to power up. Nothing like the power of rage to randomly make you stronger. I guess it was no surprise to see I was right about this being the final battle too. I am still liking the direction this arc has taken, I guess romance will not even be an issue in this arc. No super angsty battle for Romary's heart, sigh sigh.

Gundam Age 25 - Brain Damage

So I am guessing they are moving to the final battle already. A super short arc since they want more time for the final arc. Probably 2-3 episodes to wrap things up leaving 14 episodes for first arc, 14 episode for second arc, and a 22 episodes for the final arc where all the timelines "come together" as they keep advertising. This is looking to be quite the grim journey for Asemu, I am surprised their is absolutely no focus on romance with 2 girls wanting him.

Gundam Age 24 - Asemu's Plight

Finally an upgrade to Asemu's Gundam. It has been quite some time since he started using that same model. This episode I think was extremely well done, they really captured Asemu's plight well. This is turning out to be a very good arc. Partially because the gundams in this arc look so much better then the crap we got last season.

Gundam Age 23 - Return of Grodek

Asemu being emo and moral all day is getting boring. The cold and Flint seems to be pretty awesome now that he isn't the main character. I assume the arc will end with Asemu finally finding his path out of his father's shadow. The slight warning, pretty bad post, Kawaii-Kon has stolen all my attention and I have no ability to write right now.

Gundam Age 22 - Flint to the Rescue

Second post of the day, damn those subs making me do 3 posts on a Monday. At least this was a "fun" episode if nothing else, we had battle from start to end of episode. The best part was Flint actually joining the battle, something I did not expect. This arc is turning out to be pretty good other then Zeheart being absolutely retarded; They should have never had him explain his motives.

Gundam Age 21 - Asemu Regular Pilot?

This actually a pretty good episode. We finally get to see Asemu's flaws. A seemingly perfect character is finally starting to come come apart. This is proving to be quite a good arc so far, much better then the first one. All they are missing now is some better Gundam designs and I this would be extremely entertaining. I think I am finally looking forward to Gundam Age again since Yurin died.

Gundam Age 20 - The Mercy of Plot Armor

Oh god Arisa, WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!?!?!? This was an interesting episode, we finally get to see the plot armor finally crack a bit. Though, I am kind of confused on the length of this series now. Clearly this will not be ending in 2 cour and I am not sure if I can commit to this for the full 50 episodes they like to do for Gundam series.

Gundam Age 19 - A new Contender Arrives!

I guess this arc can't be complete if Romary dies, so I guess this girl will be the fall back for Asemu this season. I had no idea she was a she from the OP, I was shocked to see that. It just felt like an introduction episode for the new characters, at least we will be moving back onto the ship setting where battles can erupt at any time. I am still thinking this arc will be much better then the last one, even the gundam looks better this season!

Gundam Age 18 - Athrun Revealed!

I always love when they have pictures like these in anime

I didn't see this episode coming, I swore they would hold out the Zeheart's deception for longer. This anime is so edgy, I have no clue what they are going to come up with next! Every time I think I got it figured out, they throw a curve ball! I am thinking this arc will be better then the first arc which was much more standard stuff.

Gundam Age 17 - Seeds to Sow

Not enough Imouto screen time

So this week we focus in on that new white wolf replacement. I still think Gundam without the emo drama everywhere is lackluster. You are forced to watch it for it's shitty battle scenes and terrible character development. They should stick with what they do best, making people die for terrible reasons and throw everyone into frenzies constantly. I guess looking back, Gundam Age didn't really kick start until 3 episodes in, I guess this will hold true with this new arc since all they did was introduce all the drama that will happen in the future.

Gundam Age 16 - Balance Hammer Time

So after our climax last week, we get our long awaited WTF time skip. This time skip was purely to balance out how broken Flint had become. They nerfed him with no explanation as to why nothing happened in the 25 years period. Guess he was to busy crying over Yurin to do anything productive. I guess it isn't all bad, the new main character is much better then Flint is.

Gundam Age 15 - The Journey to Become Shin

Being random mechs sucks

We finally reach the conclusion of the arc with the destruction of the base. We are finally revealed to the truth of the UE's unknownness. So will they be referred to as KE (known enemies) now? Or are we gonna call them scum because they are Vegans lulz. Regardless, we are clearly steering Gundam in the emo like Shin Asuka route for Flint. He is almost a replica by the end of this episode.

Gundam Age 14 - This Was not What I Signed up for!

I would think I should have saw this coming but it was to late to steel my heart when I first realized what was about to happen in my anime. I guess Yurin was just too good to be true, the fate of anything that looks seems decent. This is why we can't have nice things. I wonder how this story will extend further with the main enemy on the brink of destruction, where will they bring in the new nemesis?

Gundam Age 13 - Transforming Ships

After being drawn out for such a long time, we finally get direct confrontation with the UE. It took long enough for them to lay a strike against this super terrifying enemy. They way they are portrayed, it is a wonder why the military didn't act until now. They also made it clear they are not from Earth too. They are way too humanoid to not be human though, still leaning on them being the secret service for the federation or coordinators that escaped and created their own society.

Gundam Age 12 - Narrated Strategy the Anime

Been a long holiday break and I am way behind on making posts T_T. I am not sure if I will go back and redo all the final review posts, I'll see. Half this episode was both captains explaining all their crazy strategies to the viewers. This would be fine and dandy if the plans were intricate like Death Note. This was just unnecessarily long swapping back and forth between the captain's heads. The good news is we didn't have to deal with the useless childhood friend this episode.

Gundam Age 11 - Return of the Lover

I still finding Gundam Age humourous for all the wrong reasons. All the cliches and emoness just brings a smile to my face every time, I am such a bad person. We get our lovely purple haired mystery lover back for the majority of this episode, that was probably the high point of the whole episode. That and watching the childhood friend realize she has been friend zoned hard.

Gundam Age 10 - The Fate of Fooder

A full episode dedicated to the battle, we finally get more some more drama back! The new Gundam design was better but I still found it quite boring. They are just too "box" like, not streamline enough. I am getting bored of the obvious power balance that does not exist in this show. I am considering dropping this show at this point. Not that I can't write a post about it, but it is boring to watch. I have better things to do then rage about horrid balance.

Gundam Age 09 - The Evil UE

Another boring Gundam Age episode. This show is just too cliched that it hurts. It is painfully obvious what will happen. I guess without the appeal of good looking Gundams like the other series, there is nothing to look forward to. It also helps the other series dealt with more "worldly" issues, with other forces at play, even if they never actually do anything.

Gundam Age 08 - Gear Carried Gundams

This episode started off on a terrible note. They spent the first seven minutes redoing the last one minute of the last episode. Did we really need to see in detail the other pilot losing and his Gundam's transformation sequence? At least we got some good scenes with White Wolf's nice entrance in a mobile suit that looked much better then this trash Gundam.
