Hoshizora E Kakaru Hashi In Review [5/10]

This is another series that I was enjoying but then began disliking near the end. I seem to have that tendency often. This one is more of a bias rather than being about horrid plot or other things, like many other anime. Then again, this anime didn't have much of a plot to begin with, so it would be pretty hard to screw up, huh? *har har* Either way, it was a decent anime overall; I just was not satisfied with the final girl that was picked, although at least he picked one.

Hoshizora 12 - The Confession

Seriously, they seem to have given up so easily, like they didn't even care to begin with. The conclusion of this episode was pretty obvious from the prior one. Because things kind of just went as planned, I don't really care as heavily that the worst girl of the batch was picked. My heart was ready for the utter disappointment, and it didn't affect me as much.

Hoshizora 11 - The Second Rejection

This episode reaffirmed that Ibuki was the best egg in the basket. I knew her failure was coming, but I can't help but feel disappointed to see her fail. I guess I should be happy that we got two episodes dedicated purely to her, rather than the one episode that everyone else got. I am mainly disappointed that the worst girl of the bunch is going to win.

Hoshizora 10 - The Fate of Madoka

Well, I have been waiting for this episode for quite some time. They showed glimpses of the past between Madoka and Kazuma quite a few times, enough to insinuate that this will eventually occur. I was pretty shocked at how this turned out, though; it was nothing like I had expected.

Hoshizora 09 - Trials and Tribulations

This is an extremely delayed post because I got my new laptop yesterday. Being bought in China, I had to wipe the OS and re-install all the drivers and such, which is what I spent my time doing rather than the post.

I don't think sunlight works so selectively...

Wow. Just wow. It has been a while since I had to close my laptop in rage quite a few times in one episode. Hina, who has had little to zero development the entire anime so far had an episode dedicated to her. That isn't necessarily bad; it's just that the general scenes in this episode kept making me facepalm.

Hoshizora 08 - Jealousy

They are really shipping this brotherly love...

Only in a harem anime will the cast go to not just a hot spring, but also the beach. They'll take any chance they get to show off more skin for the characters. Ui gets to show off how jealous she is that Kazuma is giving attention to other girls in the harem rather than just her. This was probably the first episode where Ui seemed to take a back seat as things progressed around her.

Hoshizora 07 - The Inexperienced Archer

Ibuki only got screentime during the second half of the episode, but I found the chat between her and the Kazuma at the end of the episode to be extremely well done. This made for one of the better episodes of this anime because of it.

Hoshizora 06 - Bringing Fanservice to a New Level

I have been informed by Aaro that if I post more borderline hentai pics, I can get more viewership. Well, I refuse to do that, but with so much fanservice this episode, I might as well post the borderline stuff. XD It was a slightly amusing episode, much like every other anime that visits a hot spring mid-season, with even more fanservice than those ones. XD (Well, maybe not as much as Kore wa Zombie Desu Ka...)

Hoshizora 05 - The Creative Athletic Meet

Penguin Ui is so awesome; I wanna take her home... *insert random Rena pic*

Hur hur hur. It wasn't hard to guess, but I was right about the green-haired girl winning the race because the main character would help. Like most episodes in an anime like this, it only served for some fanservice, humour and for the main character to solidify his grip on his harem.

Hoshizora 04 - Every Harem Needs a Pink-Haired Girl

I wonder if every harem needs to have it so that every girl has a different colour of hair. To be honest, anime faces all look similar and I do need the different hair colours to differentiate them when we first meet these characters. I guess I just fall within that group of people with too short of an attention span to really pay attention to the differences.

Hoshizora 3 - When You're So Good Your Brother Joins Your Harem

I realized yesterday that no one else is really blogging about this show. I am thankful that another group has picked up subbing this anime since Crunchyroll doesn't seem to sub it until about 5 days after the raw comes out. I feel like this anime doesn't get as much credit as it deserves.

Hoshizora 2 - A Walk Around Town

Since gg is busy trolling, I guess I'll finish doing this post now. (Btw, episode 11's sub file [.ass] can be downloaded at Nutbladder's website, and then you can just load it onto the raw to watch.)

We got to officially meet more girls in his harem. I wonder, though: since this anime airs at 9:00am on Monday, just who is it aimed at? This clearly isn't a kid's show, and generally everything else airs after midnight, so I'm kind of lost. Random note aside, it was a pretty humourous episode.

Hoshizora E Kakaru Hashi 1 - Another Harem is Formed

Yes, he saw everything.

What is with these long names for harems this season? At least make it easier to type out... Surprisingly, this first episode caught my eye more than expected, with the small details that I liked. After doing Infinite Stratos, I didn't want to write about another harem-ish anime, but this one peaked my interest enough (at least for now).
