Grief Syndrome: First Lap Run

After getting all the files up on my fancy new computer, I decided to finally get around to playing Grief Syndrome and decided to record it, as well. Also, I had hoped to upload it sooner, but YouTube and my AVS software was being a jerk.

Sequel to 999 (NDS Game) Trailer Subbed!

So, I just noticed today that there will be a sequel to the 999 NDS game coming out for the 3DS:



This game would be enough of a reason for me to buy the 3DS once either the translation or a localization for North America comes out. I loved the first one so much that it had two different posts about it. It's an awesome game; I could tell that it was the same makers the second I saw the drawing style, which was confirmed once I actually watched the trailer. I hope it's as awesome as the first one!

Dragon Nest - Solo Mino Nest

Since being able to solo the final boss at the moment is all the rage, I just had to make a video. Of all of the other ones, I am currently the second fastest, despite the lag. I think I can match or be extremely close to the best time for this run solo.

PVP Videos

So now the 12 hour maintenance for our new patch. Should be decent I hope. So far of 4 new series this anime season, I like none of them, maybe my standards are getting to high..........

Finally note, Here is to rooting for Germany since the start (since their the favorites to win now) Spain by far played better, extremely disappointed in Germany's performance.

Five Things I Hate About GMGreywulf

So, originally, there was supposes to be a post about the Western Scarf (it's still in drafting; I'll finish it in a day or two), but this takes precedent:

Five Things

1) This thread. I mean, seriously. Every other suggestion thread looks like this, but NOW it's a problem? So, either you don't read anyone else's suggestions or you're just THAT DESPERATE to stop players from rallying together to use less AP items.

2)I mean, true enough that this thread was derailed, but it RUINED MY FUN. It seriously was not that bad.
3) Xandamere, a much superior GM, was forced out so that Greywulf could come back. Seriously, Xand is much better at this customer service thing. 4) When Indi reposted the thread, you then got garbage like this. Apparently, agreeing with open poster (i.e. the simple way) is not allowed. We must all retype everything.

5) He smells funny.
(Aaro Disclaimer~ : This one's totally debatable.)

He sucks as a GM; should've made that vacation permanent.

Side note: my post about the GMs reverting their ways is slowly coming true. *LE GASP*

GMs PVPing?

So yesterday, the GMs finally started PVPing. Both Jolt and Xand played on the Chaos team. I was in a total of one match with only Xand, and then that was followed by 3 matches with both Xand and Jolt.



Here's the 2nd match with Jolt + Xand; too much effort to re-encode stuff to add the other match I frapped too. Here is the download link of that video. That file is on normal speed, while the YouTube version has been sped up to 1.75x speed since YouTube limits videos to 10min and one Fate match is 13min. (I also changed the music for the YouTube version, since the sped-up version of my music just sounds weird, whereas the download version keeps the original music that I was listening to at the time. XD)

So, some notes about the PVP matches played:
The first match with just Xand. He got demolished by me that match, which led to Jolt doing a system broadcast about it. (I missed the screenshot or I would soooo post it. T_T)

After this match occurred, it was time for the GM Dungeon Run, and so there was an hour's intermission before the GMs started PVPing again. The main reason I uploaded this match was 'cause you get to see me check out all of Jolt's gear. Note you can see the 5-slot White Fang. <.< Also, note that neither I nor anyone in the video can hurt Jolt, due to Incensing and Lord of Armour (other than Rho, who can Spell Hex). Xand came back with a Resist Melee on his demon (just for me), since he got stomped out so badly that first match. XD( You can see the "resist" over the head when I used my blunt hammer, wherein I swapped weapons to kill him). Small note: For those that don't know, those are not incenses on me during the video. It is the resist buffs that my Loki casts on me.

My hammer is finally complete, after roughly 5 weeks and 100-ish Dominions.


For those that have not seen it: we closed our previous PVP event and decided to post a new one here. The emphasis is on fairness regardless of level; hope we get much participation.

New FCs + Some Fun In The Sun Randomness

Since I love walls of text, this entry will be nice and long.


Starting off with the FCs.

Beach FC:
The sets are nice but completely overshadowed by other FC sets. Ignoring that, it's not a bad FC. You can get some really good rings, and those consumables always useful (and still has resell value). The only junk here is the earrings. 7/10

Angel FC:
The top prize sets are just wow - too bad the fillers are junk. I mean, almost everyone walks away with the 2xEXP + damage incense. Who the hell still uses 2xEXP when 3xEXP prices are rock bottom?! Low odds on top prize is always bad, and coupling it with bad fillers only makes it worse. People are only seeing the top prize and then wasting huge AP failing at it. 4/10


Also they added Restats for 300k in-game Macca. That is a huge plus. Everyone should take this chance to fix their stats.


So, now the fun time. Fun Stuff #1:
Lets start with this. This is how I waste all my money, Lething in 1.9 Spin just to do the video and then removing it afterward. Long live the Village Idiots that believe "gosu" teams can only do 6-7 runs on one incense, so me doing a run in 5min is IMPOSSIBLE. :O (Speed runs, I mean, not full runs. >.>)

So, Fun Stuff #2:
Me and Rho have a disagreement. I own an NDS, while Rho has a PSP. We both agree that each has its ups and downs. The problem lies in which system seems more "azn", so there's a new vote up for it. XD


So Fun Stuff #3:

Good news for me. Luckily, I have fun receiving PMs like this, which satisfies why he believes we should play games. It brings joy to my life that I have a stalker that goes far enough to follow all my randomness in all I do. lolz. It's okay, my stalker-ish friend - even though this PM probably is report material, I won't report you in the hopes that you send more of these to brighten my day with.

Rawr. At least spell the Pokemon's name right:



On a last note, since my stalker-ish friend brought it up, my blog failed to win the $200 AP thing - probably 'cause it's not optimistic enough about Aeria. Maybe I should have been all, "Aeria iz da beztiest!!!111!1!!1!" (Cynical Aaro Note: I wanna know who won. That's all.)

Soloing Ichi Gold Video

Another Ichi gold video. This time it's just me soloing since Rho's too busy in la-la land. Feeling pretty good exploiting all the stuff that's gonna be nerfed (enhancement, sharpshooter, Tanki). So a little over 9-min run. Enjoy~

We're still pretty nub; my demon isn't made for Ichi Gold and Rho's demon is only half-baked.
Hopefully, we can improve our time more in the future.
