Fate/Zero 25 - At Night's Beginning

So after a long 2 season, Fate Zero has finally come to an end. It was an excellent series that makes me want to play F/S N the VN to get the rest of the picture. Alas, that is probably going to take way too long to do all the routes. I was expecting nothing from the final episode, but it ended up tying everything up quite nicely, a perfect way to bridge the 2 shows together.

Fate/Zero 24 - The Limits of Miracles

A great episode to end my hiatus from posting. I will make a post after this about my D3 journey, for now I'll stick to Fate/Zero since I missed posting about all those great episodes in between. From Kerry making it rain in my room, to Rider's triumphant charge. At this point I can say Gilgamesh is clearly broken, he is way too strong a servant. I would think they would run to 26 episode, but I am not sure if they have enoguh content left for 2 more.

Fate/Zero 16 - Good Night Sweet Fast Wheels

Delayed post from the weekend, I'll explain probably later in the week. As always, Fate/Zero shows off their extremely high budget they have in their battle scenes. When you are such a large cut above everyone else, it is very noticeable. This was the fated episode I was waiting for quite some time for, it turned out to just as great as my expectations, which is quite rare.

Fate/Zero 15 - Anti-Fortress Beam

That was a very anti-climatic end for Bluebeard. We all knew from last episode that Saber would be the one to finish it up, it just felt too "easy". They built up the fight for so long that it all felt wrong. I mean, it was the climax from last season, it should have been a bigger bang. Up next to die is lancer now that he handicapped himself, like master like servant.

Fate/Zero 14 - Guns in a Mage Fight

After a 4 month wait, Fate/Zero is finally back! Though it came on the same weekend as Sakura-con and these Niconico live streams just pull me all the way in! On a side note: The quality of people at this con was much better then the Hawaii one. On a much more on topic note, it seems Caster was the most powerful servant of them all if multiple heroes teaming up still can't kill him.

Fate/Zero 13 - Clifhanger end...

What a TERRIBLE way to end the first season. I can see what they are trying to do, but this was just terrible. A horrible end for such a good anime so far. They should have kept it running as a great anime then to sell out like this. I should have saw this crap coming with that ridiculous Rin episode. Damn the way they ended this season makes me angry.

Fate/Zero 12 - Slowdown, I think you are going too fast!

I can't believe they succeeded in making an episode more boring then the loli Rin episode.The whole episode boiled down to two scenes where one scene had two characters that didn't even move. Is this the product poor budgeting? They used up too much budget in the earlier episodes and now they need to save some money?

Fate/Zero 11 - The Worth of Kings

Wow this episode was ridiculously good. I was not expecting the best part about Rider to be made into a full episode. They just constantly out-do themselves every episode, god, Fate/Zero is just too good (if you forget that shitty Rin episode). All they were missing was Lancer joining their tea party to make it perfect; Nvm he would just turn everything emo with his tragedy awaiting him.

Fate/Zero 10 - Loli Rin's Filler Time!

Sigh, WTF did I just watch. I love loli Rin as much as the next person, but this was just painful. What happened to my awesome Fate/Zero episodes? Is this the start down that bad path where everything turns to shit? This episode was just so disappointing how little I cared about Rin. It just felt like a filler episode in the mix of it all, they could have at least dropped in some small bits related to the main plot, sigh sigh.

Fate/Zero 09 - Lancer's Curse

This episode was just awesome. You can't help but feel bad for Lancer's eventual fate. An emotional rollercoaster as we watch Lancer's development and more of how Rider is just awesome. It is sad all the awesome servants are going to be taken out first (excluding Caster, he can burn). Definitely made for an amazing episode especially for a bridging episode that ended up being just as good as the fighting.

Fate/Zero 08 - The Result of Talking During Battles

Another action packed episode, if only all three fights didn't involve random moments staring at each other, it would be perfect. Still, it was a good episode, I was fully expecting someone to die, we are one third through the season and still no one has been taken out of the holy grail war. Still the best anime of this season so far with all the action going on.

Fate/Zero 07 - Tentacle Monster Invasion

I am still sad that beserker isn't getting any screen time. On the other note, I am pretty sure the first Master will fall soon, I am guessing it will be Caster and Lancer's master, this leaving Lancer open to be picked up by another master. That or he dies so that Saber gets her full power back. Maybe that is just me not wanting lancer to die D:

Fate/Zero 06 - If a Building Falls, and Nobody is There to Stop it, Does it Kill the People Inside?

Well the anime finally slowed down after two consecutive battling episodes.  The only real introduction was caster getting more screen time again. I guess episodes to slow things down are necessary, but I still prefer action from start to finish. Super delayed from playing Fate/Extra but today will be crammed with posts now.

Fate/Zero 05 - Enter Beserker!

Finally, the debut of Beserker that I have been waiting for. I was already spoiled on the identity when I wanted to know what crazy heroes we would in this arc. All I can say is, why are all the heroes sooooo much stronger then the last war? Gilgamesh was pretty much unstoppable, but compared to the heroes this time, he looked so weak. It was another epic episode with some great battles. This is proving to be one awesome anime to follow.

Fate/Zero 04 - I think Lancer has wooed me!

Oh how awesome Lancer was in this episode. I'll even ignore the fact that fighting with 2 spears like that is pretty much impossible. There isn't much that happened plot wise, but it sure was a stunning episode. For the battle between Saber and Lancer to last the whole episode, it was way beyond my expectations. One of the best battles I have seen in a while.

Fate/Zero 03 - Enter Butler Saber

Well, I'm not too surprised with how things turned out this episode. An episode to explain some of the things happening in the background. I am still disappointed we have yet to get any information about lancer's master and anything at all about beserker. So much is still unknown, like why saber is such an awesome butler!

Fate/Zero 02 - The First to Fall

Another episode to introduce the rest of the contestants. We still haven't seen lancer and the person that has summoned him. At least things have started to be put in motion by the end of this episode. I am definitely looking forward to this anime, I am still praying I can last half a year without being spoiled. Must avoid all contact about this anime at all costs!

Fate/Zero 01 - Info dump time!

I thought this was a 2 cour anime? Why do they still need to info dump so hard on the first episode? I understand the need to re-explain the basics of holy grail war for people that haven't seen the first season. They spent the whole episode introducing the characters which was pretty bad since it was a 47 min episode. There was just so much info dumping, I hope that's all they need before things start to kick in gear (probably not D:)
